e-TIDES Document Center

The Department of Revenue is proud to launch a new innovative feature in e-TIDES, the online system that businesses and tax professionals use to electronically file business-related tax returns. The feature allows business owners and tax professionals the option to receive all correspondence from the department electronically, rather than through the U.S. mail.

Mailing department correspondence often takes weeks, meaning the electronic correspondence feature is certain to streamline the process for business owners and tax professionals looking to access their correspondence as it becomes available. This new electronic delivery also saves money and is environmentally friendly.

Other important information to note is:

  • The only change with the new electronic correspondence feature is how correspondence is delivered. When a user enrolls to receive business tax correspondence electronically, it streamlines the process and allows the user to access more information faster and more efficiently. Users can view, download and print business tax correspondence immediately after it becomes available or at the user’s convenience, saving valuable time. Users will no longer receive correspondence through U.S. mail.
  • All business tax correspondence the department would normally send via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is the correspondence users will be able to view electronically. Examples include, but are not limited to, licenses and assessments.
  • Correspondence will be available for the current calendar year plus the prior three years. If users need correspondence not currently in the e-TIDES Document Center, they should contact the department at 717-787-1064.
